A guy at the Crazy Bull nightclub in downtown Macon told the cops he had been dancing with a woman. The man, 30, said, “She took my wallet out of my back pocket and ran into the female’s bathroom.”
According to the Bibb County sheriff’s report that detailed the wee-hours episode Nov. 9, a club employee and an off-duty deputy working there stood watch outside the ladies’ room waiting for the woman.
Several minutes passed.
Two of the establishment’s female employees were sent in to “clear out” the bathroom, the incident report noted.

The suspect, 29, was found hiding in the last stall. In the stall’s trash can they found the man’s wallet.
“He is lying,” the woman said, “I did not take his wallet.”
Then she got away from the deputy and tried to run. She was caught and charged with theft and obstruction.
