A gunman masked with a blue bandana held up the Waffle House at 3620 Riverside Drive late Thursday night.
Just after 11 p.m., the man with a handgun demanded money from the four workers and one customer in the restaurant not far from Tom Hill Sr. Boulevard, according to a news release from the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office.
He also took an undisclosed amount of money as he swiped the drawer from the cash register before running away.
The gunman is described as a black man wearing a desert camouflage boonie hat, black windbreaker-type jogging pants, a long-sleeved gray shirt and gloves.
