A woman from Gray was identified and arrested in connection with forgery charges in Bibb County.
Amber Leigh McCallister, 23, was arrested on an “unrelated warrant” in Jones County, according to a news release from the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office. She was taken to the Bibb County Law Enforcement Complex and charged with forgery, identity theft and theft by receiving stolen property. Her bond was set at $8,500.
The charges stem from an incident when a white female suspect was caught on surveillance footage attempting to cash a stolen check while using a stolen Georgia Driver’s License at the State Bank at 2918 Riverside Drive in Macon on June 23,
