Woman sought for identity theft at State Bank in Macon

A woman, with her pony-tailed hair piled on top of her head, waited June 23 with her arms crossed at the counter of State Bank at 2918 Riverside Drive.

Late Tuesday, Bibb deputies released a photograph of the woman, dressed in a low-cut pink T-shirt, who tried to cash a stolen check with a stolen Georgia driver’s license.

Investigators want to identify and locate the woman who is wanted for forgery, identity theft and theft by receiving stolen property, according to a news release from the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office.

Anyone with information is urged to leave a message for an investigator at 478-751-7500 or call Macon Regional Crimestoppers at 877-68-CRIME.
