A 35-year-old man from Mesa, Arizona, was found dead four days after he was released from the jail at the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office.
At about 4:15 p.m. Monday, someone noticed the body of Nathan Lindsey in the grass in the backyard of a home on Ga. 83, according to a sheriff’s office news release.
Monroe deputies arrested Lindsey on July 22 after a methamphetamine pipe was found in his vehicle.
An autopsy is planned at the GBI crime lab to try to determine the cause of death.
