A chat line conversation led to a meeting that erupted in gunfire just after 6 a.m. Sunday in Macon.
Michael Warren, of Macon, agreed to meet a man who got into Warren’s white Saturn SUV on Hart-Smith Street, according to a news release from the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office.
The men started arguing and the passenger told Warren to let him out at Ell Street and Felton Avenue where the man fired three shots, hitting Warren in the leg and arm.
A bleeding Warren drove himself to Coliseum Medical Centers where Bibb deputies roped off the vehicle to be searched for evidence outside the entrance to the emergency room off Coliseum Drive.
