A drug raid by the Special Investigations Unit of the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office led to the confiscation of about 150 grams of cocaine Friday evening.
Authorities “conducted a drug search warrant at a residence in the 800 block of Beddingfield Avenue” at around 8:55 p.m., according to a media release.
Additionally, at the same time, deputies pulled over a vehicle leaving the residence for failure to stop at a stop sign.
Cocaine was discovered being transported in the vehicle.
The street value of the 150 grams of cocaine, according to authorities, is about $15,000.
Sherrod Davis, 39, and Gary Jolly, 53, were arrested. Davis was charged with trafficking cocaine, failure to stop and driving with a suspended or revoked license. Jolly was charged with trafficking cocaine.
Both were transported to the Bibb County jail and denied bond.
Two other people were arrested on outstanding warrants during the raid -- Antonio Cable, 38, and Ray Kendrick, 57.
Cable was charged with a probation violation and Kendrick has an outstanding warrant from Warren County. Both were also transported to the Bibb County jail.
