Suspect sought in Vineville armed robbery

A suspect is being sought after an armed robbery in north Macon on Sunday morning.

Around 8:54 a.m., a black male reportedly entered the Flash Foods at 3889 Vineville Avenue with his hand under his shirt, possibly concealing a gun. He demanded money from the cashier, and once he received the cash, he fled toward Forest Hill Road.

The suspect was said to be about 5-foot-11 and 180 pounds, wearing a navy blue ski hat, blue facial covering with a white design and black gloves. He was also wearing a navy blue short-sleeved shirt, black sweat pants and Converse shoes.
