Bibb County sheriff’s deputies made an arrest Saturday in connection with a shooting in north Macon.
Kaishawn Conover, 22, was charged with aggravated assault in the shooting of 30-year-old Louis Jackson, who was identified as the victim in an incident Saturday at Vineville Avenue and Corbin Avenue. Deputies learned of Conover’s location and vehicle at the scene of the shooting, and he and a passenger were arrested near Napier Avenue. The passenger was released and will not be charged at this time.
Conover is being held on a bond of $1,850 on a charge of driving under the influence of drugs, but he will have to go before a magistrate judge for bond on his aggravated assault charge.
