The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is offering defensive driving classes for teenagers in July.
The classes are designed to help teens make sound driving decisions, avoid distractions and reduce the number of injuries and crashes associated with teenage drivers, according to a news release.
Participants must be between 15 and 18 years old and show a copy of a valid Georgia learner’s permit or driver’s license.
Classes will be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. July 13-16 and July 20-23. Classes will be taught at the sheriff’s office training facility, 110 Confederate Way.
Registration is required prior to the first day of class. For more information or to register, call Lt. Ellis Sinclair at 478-447-2326 or Sheila Taylor at 478-803-2702. Twenty spots are available for each class.
