Bibb County Sheriff David Davis and his deputies will be taking a walk through Macon’s Unionville community Thursday in hopes of strengthening the partnership between residents and the sheriff’s office.
Residents can walk with the sheriff and his deputies to discuss concerns and send a message to criminals that crime won’t be tolerated, according to a news release.
The walk will begin at 7 p.m. at the corner of Cedar Avenue and Straight Street. Locations for other planned walks will be announced at a later date.
Anyone who wants to schedule a Walk for Safety in their area is asked to contact Lt. Randy Gonzalez at 621-5644 or email@example.com.
