Charges upgraded to murder in Memorial Day shooting

Charges have been upgraded to murder in the Memorial Day shooting of a 49-year-old man following a domestic dispute.

Lisa Michelle Mack, 42, was charged with aggravated assault May 25 in the shooting of her boyfriend, 49-year-old Jerald Corbin, at a house on Radio Drive off Napier Avenue.

Corbin died early Sunday morning at a local hospital.

Corbin’s death was ruled a homicide following a Tuesday autopsy, according to a Bibb County Sheriff’s Office news release.

The arrest warrant charging Mack with murder was served on her at the Bibb County jail about 12:30 p.m. Wednesday. She’s been held without bond since her prior arrest, according to the release.

Authorities have said Mack shot Corbin in the shoulder after an argument about another woman.
