Man wanted in Bibb County fraud case

Bibb County deputies need help identifying and locating a suspect accused of depositing a fraudulent $7,950 check into a friend’s account at a Macon ATM.

The man was seen at the Robins Federal Credit Union, 4245 Log Cabin Drive on March 9, according to a sheriff’s office news release.

Investigators still are interviewing the owner of the account where the money was deposited.

Anyone with information about the identity or whereabouts of the suspect is asked to call the sheriff’s office at 478-751-7500 and ask to leave a message for the “on call” investigator. Anonymous tips can be called in at Macon Regional CrimeStoppers at 877-68CRIME.
