Two Baldwin County men arrested in connection with armed robbery

Tips landed a pair of armed robbery suspects behind bars in Baldwin County.

Around 11:30 p.m. on April 7, two masked men entered a Flash Foods store in Milledgeville and took a small, undisclosed amount of money. Based on tips from the community and investigation at the scene, 19-year-old Hakeem Holsey and 21-year-old Aaron Hitchcock were arrested and charged in connection with the robbery, according to a Milledgeville police news release issued Thursday.

Police did not respond to questions asking when the men were arrested or which Flash Foods was robbed.

Holsey was charged with armed robbery and giving false statements, and Hitchcock was charged with armed robbery, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. The men, both from Milledgeville, are being held at the Baldwin County Law Enforcement Center without bond.
