A 28-year-old man is facing charges of giving false statements and participating in criminal street gang activity in connection with the March 26 fatal shooting at Macon Garden Apartments.
Bibb County deputies are asking for help locating the man, Steven Quintrell Howard, according to a news release.
Tavarous Veal, 19, was fatally shot at the apartments, located at 3601 Mercer University Drive. Terry Brown, 23, was shot in both legs but survived.
The men were on the front porch of an apartment building when occupants of a white sport utility vehicle pulled into the parking lot and opened fire, according to the sheriff's office.
