Monroe deputies led on high-speed chase

The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office arrested three people Monday in an incident involving a high-speed car chase.

According to a sheriff’s office news release, witnesses reported seeing a man thrown from a Chevrolet Malibu near the Trophy Ford car dealership at the intersection of Ga. 18 and Patrol Road at 3 p.m. The man, Christopher Ringley, 40, of Ringgold, got into a “physical altercation” with a deputy and was charged with obstruction, the release states.
