Calls to Bibb County 911 said a naked man was running south on northbound Interstate 75.
About 12:30 a.m. Wednesday, he was seen dashing into oncoming traffic just north of the Hardeman Avenue interchange near downtown Macon.
A Bibb sheriff’s deputy’s write-up of the incident said the stocky, unclothed man with bushy brown hair, a goatee and bloodshot brown eyes -- identified only as “John Doe” -- was hard to catch.
The man, apparently looped on “an unknown narcotic,” spit in a deputy’s face while two other cops tried to handcuff him, a report stated.

“The suspect ... refused to comply with verbal commands ... and continued actively fighting,” the spit-on deputy’s report noted. “The suspect then once again purposely spit in my direction, striking my jacket with his saliva. He then shouted, ‘I have herpes, b----!’”
The man was then tased and handcuffed but wouldn’t give his name.
“The suspect, being naked, had no form of identification on his person,” the report said.
He was taken to a local hospital for examination.
Warrants for battery and obstruction were pending.
