Two men rob Citi Trends

Bibb County deputies are asking for the public’s help in finding the two robbers of a Mercer University Drive business.

Around 9 p.m. Saturday, two people came into Citi Trends, 3555 Mercer University Drive. One of the robbers ordered an employee to give him the money from the cash registers. The other robber ordered a second employee to open the safe.

The suspects had their hands in their pockets, as if they had weapons, but no weapons were seen, a sheriff’s office spokesman told The Telegraph.

The men took an undisclosed amount of money and fled the store on foot. Both suspects are described as black males, each of whom had his face covered. One suspect wore a white hoodie, brightly colored khaki pants, and dark-colored shoes. The second suspect wore a black hoodie, khaki-colored cargo pants and white shoes.
