A naked man accused of trying to rape a Shirley Hills woman in her backyard June 4 was indicted Tuesday.
Hank Lanier Baker, 48, of Broadway, is charged with criminal attempt to commit rape and aggravated assault stemming from the alleged incident, according to an indictment filed in Bibb County Superior Court.
Baker allegedly told a Jackson Springs Road woman he was "looking for sex" before tackling her, choking her and pulling at her pants. The woman kicked and screamed. Baker ran away.
He was arrested about a week later after a Bibb County deputy spotted him -- still nude -- walking on a sidewalk. The deputy zapped Baker in the buttocks and back with a Taser during a foot chase.
Baker is being held at the Bibb County jail without bond, according to jail records.
