Bibb investigators seek help identifying robbery suspect

The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s help identifying the suspect or suspects in photos from a series of convenience store robberies along Interstate 475.

The most recent robbery took place Aug. 10 at the Circle K convenience store, 5011 Romeiser Drive. The suspect is described as a black male, about 5 feet 6 inches tall with a medium build, wearing a lime green shirt, khaki pants, black shoes and a black stocking cap with a white T-shirt covering his face.

Investigators think the same man may have robbed the same store on Nov. 11, 2013, wearing gray boxer-briefs, a do-rag on his head and do-rag covering his face. He is believed to be in his 40s.

There also was a robbery March 21 of the Circle K at 4775 Chambers Road. That suspect was described as a black male, 6 feet tall with a medium build who was wearing a long-sleeved black shirt and red shorts. He also was wearing black tennis shoes, a blue stocking hat on his head and a black bandana covering his face.

Anyone with information is asked to call the sheriff’s office at 478-751-7500 or Macon Regional Crimestoppers at 877-68-CRIME.
