Argument leads to fatal shooting in Bibb

An argument over a vehicle led to a fatal shooting late Saturday night, according to a Bibb County Sheriff’s Department release.

Walter Henley, 59, died in the incident at his home at 4882 Fulton Mill Road. According to witnesses, Henley was on his back porch arguing with a man over a vehicle when the man started shooting, the release said, hitting Henley multiple times.

The incident happened at about 10 p.m. and Coroner Leon Jones pronounced him dead at the scene at 10:28 p.m.
