Macon police are investigating an aggravated assault in which a group of males ages 16 to 22 shot at a man and his son Sunday on Bailey Avenue, according to a police report.
The group was harassing the man’s son, a 13-year-old boy, for wearing a red T-shirt about 6 p.m., according to the report. One member of the group then punched the boy in the mouth. When the boy’s father intervened, someone in the group drew a 9 mm handgun and started shooting at the man and his son, striking their vehicle. The males then fled the scene. No one was reported injured.
Police are looking for two males involved in the incident.
