Warner Robins police are investigating a Tuesday evening stabbing, after Houston Medical Center personnel notified them of a victim being treated for a knife wound.
Police Maj. John Wagner said victim Emanuel Palmer, 22, of Warner Robins, was transferred to The Medical Center of Central Georgia in Macon in critical condition. Wagner did not know Palmer’s current condition.
Other than a possible Hispanic male being involved, officers have little additional information.
Officers followed a blood trail from the house of the man who took Palmer to the hospital, and it led them to Calhoun Street and Elberta Road.
Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call 929-6911.
Coincidentally, a Houston County grand jury indicted Palmer on Tuesday with disorderly conduct, public drunkenness and terroristic threats and acts, according to an indictment released Wednesday. The indictment said Palmer threatened to kill someone Jan. 30, and called the person a derogatory name.
The Houston County Sheriff’s Office did not respond to calls Wednesday regarding details of the case for which Palmer is indicted.
