Zebulon Road convenience store robbed

Three men participated in a robbery at the Circle K convenience store, 6205 Zebulon Road, about 4:30 a.m. Tuesday, according to the Bibb County sheriff’s Office.

Witnesses say one man talked with the clerk while two other men looked around the store. The man who talked with the clerk and one of the other men then left. The third man approached the clerk about 10 minutes later and demanded money from the cash register in a threatening manner, according to a news release.

After receiving an undisclosed amount of money, the three men left in a red Chevrolet truck with a ladder rack on the back, headed toward Interstate 475. No one was injured during the incident, according to the release.

One of the men is described as being white, bald, of stocky build and wearing a red Georgia Bulldogs logo jacket, blue jeans and white tennis shoes. Another man, also white, is described as being of slightly muscular build with dark hair and wearing a blue and white T-shirt, according to the release.

The last suspect, a black man who talked with the clerk, is described as having a slender build and dreadlocks and wearing a red shirt, dark jeans and red Converse shoes. He was missing a front tooth and mentioned his name was “Montrey,” according to the release.
