Macon police captured two burglary suspects inside the abandoned Butler School on Earl Street shortly before 6 p.m. Sunday.
Acting on a tip that several people were breaking into the building, officers arrested a man and woman inside the school, according to a news release from the Macon Police Department.
Francelia Barber, 44, of Forest Avenue, was charged with burglary, possession of burglary tools and terroristic threats after police caught her with stolen copper, the release stated.
Jamez Montario Waters, 20, of Dalton Street, was charged with burglary.
