Four men have been linked to 24 burglaries in Baldwin, Jasper, Jones, Putnam and Wilkinson counties, according to the Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office.
Dustin Curtis Kent, 21, of Gordon, was taken into custody following a burglary in Baldwin County on Dec. 19. Evidence found in his car linked him to several burglaries in Baldwin County, Capt. Brad King said.
Further investigation led to the arrest the following week of 18-year-old Antonio Demonte Williams, of Haddock, 17-year-old Edward Jerome Broadus, of Haddock, and one other man whose identity was not immediately available Thursday. Charges are pending against a fifth man, King said.
Members of the group have been linked to 14 burglaries in Baldwin County, three in Jasper County, three in Jones County, three in Putnam County and one in Wilkinson County, King said.
All of the men either hail from or have family living in Haddock.
