Gunman robs Shoe Show

A gunman robbed Shoe Show, 2525 Pio Nono Ave., about 5:45 p.m. Thursday, according to Macon police.

An employee told police that a man walked into the store and tried on a pair of shoes. He then went to the cash register, brandished a gun, pushed a customer out of the way and demanded money, according to a police report.

The employee gave the money to the gunman and he ran, according to the report.

The gunman is described as a black man with gold teeth and a beard. He was wearing a black hat, black gloves, black jacket, black glasses and blue jeans. Police recovered the box of shoes that contained the shoes the gunman tried on, according to the report.
