Macon house damaged by gunfire, police say

Three men were inside a house in the 2800 block of Elpis Street about 9:30 p.m. Monday when shots were fired at the house, according to Macon police.

The three men told police they heard seven shots, but officers found 13 shell casings about 200 feet away from the house in the road. The house was damaged by two bullets passing through windows and a wall, according to a police report.

Police do have a suspect, but no arrest has been made, according to the report.
