Man’s arm broken during attack in Bibb County

Bibb County sheriff’s investigators are looking into a Saturday night assault that left the victim’s arm broken, a sheriff’s report said.

According to the report, the victim was walking along Flaherty Drive after 8 p.m. when a truck came at him. He had to jump out of the road and into a nearby ditch.

Three men jumped out of the truck and the driver grabbed a metal pipe, striking the victim in the arm. The victim ran and the men chased him before turning around, getting back in the truck and driving away.

The victim told investigators he knew some of the men who attacked him, but he said he didn’t know why they did.
