Bibb County investigators are looking into the attack on a Macon man who was assaulted by a group of people while walking back to his car after running out of gas Tuesday night.
According to the report, the victim was walking back to his car in the 3200 block of Nisbet Drive after getting gas nearby when several people jumped him from behind. He said he was punched and kicked several times and had about $400 taken from his back pocket.
The victim drove to a nearby friend’s house, who then took the victim to the hospital. The victim told deputies he didn’t see how many people attacked him, because he is blind in one eye.
