Man stabbed during argument in Macon

A man was stabbed in the abdomen about 5 p.m. Monday in the 2300 block of Montpelier Avenue, according to Macon police.

The stabbing occurred during an argument, Deputy Chief Mike Carswell said.

The man was taken to The Medical Center of Central Georgia with an injury that was not life-threatening, Carswell said.

Police did not provide any information about the assailant.
