Four Houston County residents are accused of fraudulently obtaining federal funding for housing, according to the GBI.
In all, arrest warrants were issued for 80 people in 31 counties, including Houston County, as part of Operation Clean House, according to a GBI news release.
The amount of fraud for all the cases combined was estimated at $1.1 million, the release stated.
Warner Robins residents Sheila Draughorne, Dwana Colman and Rosiland Thorpe and Perry resident Larzania Adkinson were arrested Wednesday. Each was charged with making false statements, according to the news release and Houston County jail records. All are free on a $2,000 bond.

The four are accused of fraudulently obtaining federal funding for Section 8 housing, which is administered through the Georgia Department of Community Affairs Housing Choice Voucher Program, the release stated.
The roundup was a combined effort of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development Office of the Inspector General, the GBI and the state Department of Community Affairs, the release stated.
