Six Macon men and a juvenile have been charged with drug-related crimes in connection with a search warrant served in the 2900 block of Dalton Street.
Members of the Macon police gang unit and Superior Court probation officers conducted the search Tuesday and found 10 bags of powder cocaine, marijuana, a .40-caliber handgun and assorted gang-related items, according to a police news release.
Individuals arrested include: 19-year-old Karlos Middlebrook Cornelius of Dalton Street; 22-year-old Michael Kenterius Cornelius of Nisbet Drive; 23-year-old Johntellis Montez Mathis of Lynmore Avenue; 28-year-old Torrey Antawn Woodford of Nisbet Drive; 29-year-old Martezes Deonta George of Highland Drive; 22-year-old Michael Antwan Chapman of Blair Court; and a juvenile, according to the release.
All seven people were charged with possession of cocaine with intent to distribute, possession of marijuana and participating in a criminal street gang. Karlos Cornelius additionally was charged with a probation violation due to the location of the gun, according to the release.
