A juvenile is in custody after an attempted armed robbery at the Family Dollar store at 1861 Watson Blvd. in Warner Robins.
Police officials said the boy, a 16-year-old Perry resident, entered the store about 8:30 p.m. Monday, held a knife to the clerk and threatened to kill her. He fled without any merchandise or money.
Because he was underage, officials aren’t releasing his name.
Officials said an officer spotted the teen a short time later.
