Macon police are investigating two cases of shots fired at residences that took place this weekend. There’s no indication the cases are related.
The first incident took place Friday afternoon at a house on Seaton Drive when officers responded to a call that a shot had been fired at the residence. The resident told officers she heard a noise upstairs and when she investigated, she saw that a bullet had broken through a window and ricocheted around the room. No one was injured.
The second incident took place early Sunday morning at an apartment in the 2300 block of Houston Avenue. The resident told officers she heard a noise downstairs at about 5 a.m. and went to investigate. She discovered her front window had been shot out.
The woman told officers that she had heard people arguing outside earlier, but didn’t know if it was related to the gunshot. No one was hurt in the second incident.
Anyone with information on either case is asked to call Macon Regional CrimeStoppers at (877) 68-CRIME.
