Perdue Farms employee arrested on terroristic threats charges

Houston County sheriff’s deputies arrested an employee of Perdue Farms on Tuesday on charges of “terroristic threats and acts,” according to a Wednesday news release.

Jacob Noble, 56, was taken into custody without incident at the Perry facility by sheriff’s deputies, according to the release.

He is alleged to have solicited help in trying to acquire an assault weapon and boasted that he could “easily kill 200 people” if he was successful, the release stated.

Several of Noble’s co-workers reported his behavior to the Houston County Sheriff’s Office.

Anyone with additional information about the incident is asked to call the sheriff’s office at (478) 542-2085.
