Woman not involved in shooting, Macon police say

A woman previously sought in connection with the Thursday shooting of two women at 1255 Ramona Ave. is not a suspect in the shooting, according to Macon police.

Kimberly Washington is not a person of interest and was not involved in the shooting, according to a police news release.

Washington did not accompany 29-year-old Tameka Anderson, according to the release.

Anderson was arrested Friday on two counts of criminal attempt to commit murder and one count of possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony. She is accused of shooting 18-year-old Samantha Blount in the chest and leg and wounding 25-year-old Candace Hooks in the leg, according to police.
