A Twiggs County man who was shot in the head Friday night was in stable condition at The Medical Center of Central Georgia late Saturday morning.
Jobbie Jones, who is believed to be in his late 20s, was wounded in the eye, ear and knee during a domestic dispute during supper at 164 Stephens Drive at about 6:30 p.m. Friday, said Twiggs County Chief Deputy Billy Boney.
Jones' uncle, Roy Clinton Killins, 57, who also lives on Stephens Drive, is accused of firing a .38 caliber pistol at his nephew and hitting him three times, Boney said.
Killins is currently being held in the Twiggs County Law Enforcement Center on charges of aggravated assault, aggravated battery and possession of a firearm during certain crimes, Boney said.
Jones was expected to have another surgery sometime Saturday.
