Bibb County sheriff’s investigators, working with the Jones County Sheriff’s Office, have linked a Bibb County man to 15 burglaries committed in south and west Bibb, according to a news release.
Bibb County investigators have placed a hold on Jerimiah Jason Ammons, 30, who was arrested June 18 on an attempted burglary charge by Jones County deputies. Ammons currently is being held at the Jones County jail on four counts of burglary and one count of probation violation.
Once Ammons is released from Jones County, he will be transferred to the Bibb County jail, where he will face charges on 15 counts of burglary and could face additional charges, the release stated.
Investigators from both sheriffs’ offices executed a search warrant on Ammons’ residence and found evidence of thousands of dollars’ worth of stolen merchandise.
