Man shot in arm Friday night

A 29-year-old man was shot in the arm Friday night during an altercation, according to a news release from the Macon Police Department.

The incident happened at 9:12 p.m. at 3707 Case St. The victim, Craig Howard, was treated for the gunshot wound late Friday at a local hospital.

Police spokeswoman Jami Gaudet said Saturday evening in an e-mail that the circumstances of the shooting were still being investigated and that no suspects had yet been named.
