Shots fired at vehicle entering Macon apartment complex

Shots were fired at a vehicle entering College Park Apartments, 3535 Williamson Road, between 3 a.m. and 4 a.m.

Tuesday after the victim refused to give the driver of the shooter’s vehicle the gate code, according to Macon police.

A 47-year-old man who lives at the complex told police three shots were fired at him, breaking the back windshield.

The man put his car in reverse and followed the suspect vehicle westbound on Williamson Road until he lost sight of the car, according to a police report.

Police recovered three .380-caliber shell casings from the area and noted damage to the man’s trunk, according to the report.
