Men with gun rob Macon Mall worker in parking lot

Two men robbed an 18-year-old Dry Branch man at gunpoint Sunday night in the Macon Mall food court parking lot at about 9:30 p.m., according to Macon police.

The man told police he’d just left work at Gold Buyers, a business inside the mall, when the two men approached him in the parking lot. One of the men pointed a gun at his chest and knocked a cell phone out of his hand, according to a police report.

The assailants left after damaging the man’s cell phone and taking his cooler bag that contained food. The robbers were last seen in a dark-colored, four-door vehicle, according to the report.
