Man attacked with screwdriver

Macon police are looking for a man who they say attacked two other men with a screwdriver and a 4-by-4 piece of wood early Thursday morning.

According to the report, two brothers who are staying at a boarding house on Main Street were attacked by another resident staying there.

The man told one of the brothers, who was a guest of the other brother, that he needed to leave.

They informed the man that the brother had permission from the landlord to stay.

The man left, the report said, only to come back a minute later and kick in the door, swinging the piece of lumber at one of the brother’s heads.

As he ran outside to call police, the man attacked his brother with a screwdriver, causing several cuts on his head.

Another resident came in and separated them, and the man ran out of the house and down the street. Both brothers were taken to The Medical Center of Central Georgia.
