Shots fired at moving vehicle in Macon, police say

A sport utility vehicle was damaged by gunfire Monday night while being driven in the 1900 block of Second Avenue, according to Macon police.

A 45-year-old woman told police she and her son were riding in the SUV at about 9:15 p.m. when a boy started shouting and shooting at them. Five or six shots were fired at the vehicle. One shot hit the rear door, according to a police report.
