South Macon store robbed during weekend

A robber in a ski mask threatened an employee of the Lottery Arcade on Rocky Creek Road Saturday night and made off with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The crime happened about 10:05 p.m. at 1548 Rocky Creek Road, according to a Macon Police news release. As the employee unlocked a door to walk out to her car after closing, a black male dressed in all black and wearing a black ski mask approached her with his hand in his pocket as if he had a gun.

The man forced the employee back into the store, took the cash and then ran away.

He was last seen running behind the building. The employee was not injured.
