Bibb deputies make arrests during two drug raids

Bibb County deputies arrested three adults and a teenage boy Monday on drug charges stemming from two raids.

Johanan Bacon, 25, of Macon; Zander Dennis, 24, of Macon; and Josh Benson Kirvin Jr., 28, of Warner Robins, were arrested after deputies seized 6 pounds of marijuana, two handguns and an AK-47 from a house in the 4100 block of Brookdale Avenue, according to a sheriff’s office news release.

Investigators obtained a search warrant after members of the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force noticed a strong odor of marijuana while serving a warrant. Deputies also seized $1,899 in cash.

The marijuana has an estimated street value of $14,000, according to the release.

A 15-year-old male was arrested during a routine sweep of a known drug sale location on Cynthia Weir Place, located off Rocky Creek Road, according to a news release.

Deputies spotted the boy running from the back of a house in the 4000 block of Cynthia Weir Place. Holding bags of marijuana in both arms, he dropped a few bags as he led deputies on a short foot chase, according to the release.

The teen was captured a few streets away and deputies seized the marijuana and 15 Ecstasy pills. The 3 pounds of marijuana and Ecstasy pills have a street value of $8,500, according to the release.
