Bibb County sheriff’s investigators are looking into a Sunday morning shooting.
An incident report stated that the driver of a car, Charles Cook, stopped a Bibb County deputy and told him he was taking his cousin, Anthony Dik of Knoxville Road, to The Medical Center of Central Georgia because Dik was shot.
According to the report, Cook told the deputy he received a phone call from his cousins asking for help because a man was going to their Crawford County home to fight them.
When Cook arrived, he found Dik had been shot in the neck with a shotgun, and some of the pellets hit Dik in the face as well.
Dik was taken to The Medical Center of Central Georgia. The case was turned over to the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office.
