Drug paraphernalia found in home invasion

A 21-year-old Macon man was robbed at gunpoint Tuesday night after two men entered his apartment in the 2300 block of College Street, according to Macon police.

The man said he was playing video games at about 11 p.m. when he heard a knock at the door, according to a police report. When he answered the door, two men with a gun entered the home and demanded money.

The men then forced the man outside where he started yelling for help. A neighbor called police, according to the report. Nothing was taken.

When officers arrived, they noticed a pipe commonly used for smoking marijuana on an ottoman in the living room and smelled a strong odor of marijuana.

Police served a search warrant. Charges against the man are pending.
