Cordele man arrested after recent shootings

A Cordele man faces multiple charges following several shootings in his community.

Gregory Antonio Odoms, 19, was identified as the shooter through police investigations, according to a news release from the Cordele Police Department.

Odoms was arrested Monday and has been charged with three counts of aggravated assault, criminal damage to property, robbery by sudden snatching, battery, criminal use of an article with altered identification mark and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, the release stated.

Additional charges are pending. He is being held in the Crisp County Detention Facility.
