Police seek suspects in killing

Macon police are looking for those responsible for killing a man early Sunday morning as he sat in his car in front of a Pio Nono Avenue nightclub.

Zachary Blasingame, 25, was shot multiple times about 3:40 a.m. as he sat inside his 1999 Ford Crown Victoria at Club Money’s at 4740 Pio Nono Ave., said Bibb County Coroner Leon Jones. Blasingame, of 4690 Log Cabin Dive, was taken to The Medical Center of Central Georgia, where he was pronounced dead at 4:43 a.m.

Jones said an autopsy will be performed today to determine how many times Blasingame was shot.

Police are looking for a black, four-door Honda Accord in connection with the crime, according to Macon police spokesman Sgt. Zac Self. Anyone with information about the shooting should call Macon police at 751-7500 or Macon Regional CrimeStoppers at 742-2330.
